Mentorship Program (Canyon County)
International Missionary Network had created a Christian mentorship program currently providing at risk youth, children of those in full-time ministry, and single mothers with free martial arts training.
This program integrates martial arts, camps, and the Gospel message via "mat chats" along with additional life training and confidence building in order to develop dedicated Christian disciples. Juveniles who would otherwise have little to no positive role models pouring into their lives receive intentional investment from local pastors and parents who volunteer at the dojo and often times train beside the younger students.
Last year this mentorship program helped 65 men, women, and children in Canyon County, Idaho.
Our leading students have gone on to fight, train, and minister internationally. Some of these students have traveled to places like India and Thailand after having previously never left Idaho. These students also dedicate time to train and teach other youths and children locally.
